The Principles provide high-level guidance to the AAM sector on how to respect, protect, and advance passenger rights to full transparency, social justice, and preservation of human rights.
The ATPTI Framework provides more detailed guidance to AAM companies on how to put the Principles into practice, and furnish the framework for collaboration among companies, NGOs, academics and investors. The Framework will be regularly reviewed and revised to consider actual experience, evolving circumstances, and stakeholder feedback.
AAM member companies and organizations commit to acting in a manner consistent with the ATPTI Principles and Framework wherever they operate, including in difficult jurisdictions.
Advanced Air Mobility will have profound impact on people around the world. ATPTI will drive international consensus toward a code of ethics. Through the ATPTI, OEMs commit to upholding human rights throughout the AAM supply chain and operations regardless of what may be otherwise allowed by local host nation laws. Often, in the interest of maximizing profits, multi-national corporations seek to cut costs in each new market so if local law doesn't require a certain practice then it is tempting to skip, despite the foreseeable impact to local citizens. Our proactive approach is aimed at mitigating human rights infringement before they occur. In this way, we not only help keep people safe, we provide the foundational arguments to more effectively advocate for themselves.
